Important Notice for Recharging
~ Recharge Any Time~
There is a rechargeable battery built inside of the hearing aid subject, for properly use under normal condition, it is able to be recharged & to discharge for 500 times (minimum). In order to extend the usage life of the rechargeable battery, here we strongly recommend users when the hearing aid is not in use, please place it into charging case any time to assure fully charged when needed.
To charge your hearing aid whenever you don't use it will be helpful to maintain the rechargeable battery & extend the usage life for recharging & discharging up to 1000 times maximum.
So, there is no need to turn it off after finishing using, just store it back to charging case.
~Battery Low Power Sound Alert~
According to the character of rechargeable battery, when it is almost run out of power, occasionally the hearing aid will announce some slight sound as an alert to remind user recharging. Please don't treat it as any defective; just put your hearing aid back to charging case and the sound will disappear when it is properly charged.
~Battery Charging and Using Time~
It takes 8 – 12 hours to charge hearing aid battery fully. A full charge will last about 6 – 10 hours. The time will depend on the level of volume you select. A louder volume will consume more battery power.
~Still Have Trouble with Hearing~
If you still have a problem hearing clearly we suggest you purchase an additional Hearing Aid for your other ear. With both ears receiving amplified sound, there is a balance of amplified sound and a greater ability to distinguish speech against background noises. When you wear two hearing aids the direction of the sound source is easier determine.

I have received my second set of these hearing aids. The first set were good for about a year(I've had them a year and a half). One of them got wet from accidentally entering the shower with it in my ear. Never, Ever get them wet! The other one still works but does not pick up sound well. The batteries last about 10-12 hours in use, however the old batteries will still hold a charge(spare batteries for the new ones). I plan to by another set when these are worn out.

Just purchased above to replace after 18 months my prior DTM version rounded light brown case. One unit of latter had failed, and the other is my spare. The two units in new version seem louder and clearer, and the price is $20 less (and far, far less than audiologists charge for traditional "digital hearing aids")
One criticism that DTM can and should easily remedy: the adjusting button should have a single straight slot a fingernail can easily turn rather than a asterisk pattern.

This is the second dual unit that I have purchased thru DTM and I am very pleased with their service. The hearing units have performed very satisfactorily (as good as the expensive units)and the rechargeable batteries are great. Over all, I am very pleased with the hearing aid units.

I just had to write to tell you that the Rechargeable Digital Hearing Aids ( Dual Units ) that I purchased in August are working out great so far. The rechargeable units last approximately 6-9 hours on a full charge (less time when used in cold weather and longer in warm weather). My family and friends are amazed at the improvement in my hearing ability! They do take some getting used to like anything else. In a crowded restaurant you have to concentrate on the person speaking to you, but, this is reasonable. In a home environment I can actually hear the tv and familymembers better than people with normal hearing. I will probably order 2 more units for Christmas so that I can wear 2 while 2 are charging. Thanks again for making this product available since there is no medical or government assistance for the moderately hearing impaired.
